Given an overall weight of 1,143kg there is a 3.15% difference front to rear Chris with the front heavier by 36kg than the rear so not quite 50:50 but nearly.
With more time it may have been possible to set it even closer but there is always a trade off.
Having driven the car some more it does handle better.
Having seen some of the work James has carried out it may be that any car that has had major bodywork repairs like the rear floor and axle mounting point (mine hasn’t as far as we can tell) should have the weight distribution checked as well as the ride height settings.
However given the state of some of the suspension adjusting screws out there setting either is not a simple task and to acquire a modern system to do comprehensive weight distribution checks would cost a minimum of £900 looking around on the web.
