Good point David – Halfords is not a place to find a good deal on anything.
I run the wipers and the fuel gauge off the 6V converter – but I believe the fuel gauge would work on 12V too – not that mine works very often. The converter works very well – something like £20 from Hong Kong on ebay if I remember correctly.
