Reply To: windscreen rubber

Looking at this image you would think that the rubber had been fitted ‘curve out’.

Well when it was fitted December 2012 it was actually fitted ‘curve in’ and over the years with heat etc. it has eventually  taken on the shape of the car frame.

The screen did take some effort to refit to the car due to the access for the bolts and IIRC it took 3 of us to push it into place and fit the bolts!

It has never leaked though but looking at the shape now and how hard it ‘feels’, it’s maybe time to replace it again….

Sorry, can’t find that diagram online though I’ll keep looking.
