    My Slough ‘53 has Lucas L549. The Lucas manual for the period has Lucas SF38c – the pork pie. (see members area).
    My 12 of 39 has Lucas L471 with a pork pie on the registration plate.

    Not sure if there is a definitive answer to this question!
