Traction experts. Please forgive me if this appears lazy, but I have scoured the Internet without success. This is for a ‘53 Slough Traction. Any ideas as to where I can get one? Thank you in advance

Part number is 706572 Norman and listed at Fransens https://tinyurl.com/y9tu3syp Pat2d and Der Franzose and part D54 on TOC spares list (ignore the LHD bit it’s the same part).

The only difference between the LHD & RHD big boot No. Plate lamp was that the shell of the Slough lamp was chrome plated whereas the French ones were painted body colour.

Have you got the perspex part for the bottom Norman?

Mine was cracked and brittle so I bought a cheap picture frame from Wilko that had perspex rather than glass in it and used that to make a new one

Hi David, thanks for that. I never would have found it! Yes, the Perspex was completely shot. I had a few bits of Perspex knocking around. I also managed to get the part rechromed, along with the Citroen badge.

The thing that I can’t get my head around, are the ‘bent’ coach bolts for the bumpers. My bolts were in very bad condition. I’ve managed to get stainless equivalents, but no I need to bend the heads. What a headache. Any ideas?
