Would anyone like their Traction to be featured in a video that Citroen UK are making for their own
internal sales purposes? Short notice I know – this is for Tuesday June 29 th . This has only just reached
      me.
Citroen are getting together a few of the classic Citroens – DS, 2CV, GS and CX for a sales video they are
making for their new electric models. They would like to have a Traction as well. The location is
      Bruntingthorpe Airfield in Leicestershire.
Some of the older cars could feature in a relay race with the electric cars. I don’t know what this really
means and I am sure they won’t use all the cars.
But they do want to film the cars and do a short interview with each of the owners.
They don’t have a specific model in mind – no preference for LHD / RHD, Slough/Paris, big/small, big
boot/small boot, colour etc. It probably should be a respectable and original looking car.
      Important things:
Citroen will pay expenses and provide free food.
The event will take about 3 hours during the afternoon – I don’t know the exact timing.
Dress code – smart casual, no T-shirts with big logos, long shorts would be ok if the is weather is hot.
They only need one car. Nigel Wild of the CCC is handling car selection and will be the contact point.
Anyone who would like to volunteer should either contact me or Nigel directly.
      Nigel’s details are:
      Nigel_Wild@talktalk.net
      Landline: 01132737077
      Mobile: 07958938744
I am sending this request to area organisers, the TOC committee, the newsletter and posting it on the
forum. If you think you know of someone who would like to volunteer their car but would not be
reached by any of those routes, could you please pass the message on.

      Thanks

      Chris
