First of all I must apologize for my bad English. My name is Jose  Manuel from Spain and I am a new TOC membership, thank you. I´m thinking about buying a C11B and have a lot of doubts. I must recognise I don´t have experience at all. In an advertising , the car is 400km from where I live I fonund a c11B. According to the seller car is ok all new but a first sight in the picture of the engine I see a part cut, I´m not Know if it is important or not. The price is 15.000 euro. Please I need a piece of advice.

      Thank you , José Manuel

It looks shiny, but I can’t tell from the photos….

The air filter is missing the top part. That, alone, should tell you that the guy selling it has only a vague idea about Tractions!

Apologies, I’m a bit late to this. Another missing part is the heater tube that runs from the radiator to the scuttle. I doubt that it matters much in Spain.

The car has a 123 distributor, an alternator and a temperature gauge – so someone has spent some money to make improvements. The number dates the car as 1952.

<p style=”text-align: left;”>….. and the top of the air filter is in situ in the first picture.  I guess it was possibly removed for the second picture in order to show the element.</p>
