Reply To: French Metric Threads

I worked on an MG TC fitted with a 1250cc XPAG engine and to my surprise the bolts holding the oil pump to the block were metric and stripped. After a lot of enquiries I was told the Hotchkiss story and given the name of a specialist who made them, big end bolts on an MG TD are also non standard metric.
