      Hi.  I noticed vapour ( fuel ?) coming out of the carb after shutdown, it lasted for about 10 seconds , a heat shield is fitted . Carb just been serviced and I have now refitted it. Didn’t notice it previously. Any thing to be concerned about.

        <p style=”text-align: left;”>Is it just vapour or is it liquid fuel, and if liquid, is it coming from the copper manifold drain pipe or from the carb itself?</p>
        If the engine has been run hot without the air filter, you will possibly see a little vapour when it stops.

        If it is liquid fuel from some other part of  the carb it does not sound normal.
