Thanks Alain,

The picture is good enough to confirm how it should fit.

The problem I had was that the little triangular tabs were all broken off. Hence there was nothing to hold the front rail in position.

Using self taping screws and body washers I have managed to locate the rail and replicate what the tabs should have done.
