        I have seen ‘images’ of the glovebox ones Mick, but never actually seen one in a car, maybe at the 80th rally?

          There is a French company supplying reproduction glove box radios in the style of one in the leaflets posted earlier. see following link to the ad on “Le Bon Coin”:

          Their price is 450€ -not cheap but a lot better than the 1000 Mick was quoted!
