Having redone the seats I’m turning my attention to repainting the window surround trims (see another topic here) and perhaps replacing the door trims. Over the past year I think I’ve seen “door cards” advertised which I took to be complete and trimmed with striped cloth and leatherette material (to match the seats).
Now I can’t find them anywhere. Any advice and help appreciated

I’m sure James Geddes bought a complete set at the autojumble at the 80th Anniversary Rally at La Ferte Vidame

I’ll see if he can remember who the seller was……….

Check out any of the French or Dutch suppliers. You may have to buy the materials and get an upholster to put them together or have a go yourself.

http://www.pat2d.com/sellerie-divers.htm?page=3 – just the bare cards and material

http://www.renelauto.fr/traction10.pdf – Renel do the fully finished panels (Planche No 26 in the PDF catalogue) got my roof liners from these guys.

http://www.neoretrofrance.com/v9/php/mod/idx000_sfa.php – fully built, I got my carpets from these guys and they are very good

http://www.cas-shop.nl/en/traction-11cv/interieur-bekleding-and-tapijt/doorpanel-coveringset-7-52.html – you would need the cards too

Renel is probably your best bet and the cheapest but their quality on these products are very good. – I am off to another Bourse this weekend so will have a look out for some and get any details. Any help you need contacting the above, just let me know.

Just for info – I had all my seats, door cards and all the little internal pieces re upholstered for a cost of €1300 plus €200 for the vinyl. When you add up all the individual covers etc it comes to a lot more than that. So might be worth finding a local upholsterer.

OK contacted James, he can’t be certain but we think it was Claude Renel

Do them yourself, it’s not difficult.

I know these were on originally but a few people have told me they are not much use.

Are they useful ❓ i.e effective.

I can see why. A friend (new to Tractions, like me) came round the other day and was trying to stop water getting in. He was missing these and the bottom of the door cards were stained.

Seeing as I have a brand new interior I may as well get a set and put them on.

I didn’t have them on my car and I could feel the wind and dust getting in until I finally installed them. Well worth doing.

I am putting the door cards on and the door catches / winders.

I have the springs behind the face plates and have put the handle on but the face plate is really loose, not binding on the door card material. What is the best method of getting this right. I don’t want to tear the door panels as the face plate spins around.

Yes, little spikes. And at the moment they spin round, afraid they will cut into my door panels.

The is a spring inside but does not push out much, even the new ones.
