I have read in the past that the clutch assy can be changed to a more modern assy, does any one know how this is done and what assy is used or am I better refurbing what I have?

I just ordered a new coolant tube for the head, is it installed with the holes facing up or down?

Not sure exactly where the new type clutch comes from (Land Rover?) but it’s a diaphragm type and the flywheel must be modified slightly. It’s also a lot easier on your left leg. There are various suppliers.

Details of diaphragm clutch replacement can be found in the following copies of Floating Power:
            – Vol 37 Issue 2
            – Vol 30 Issue 2
            – Vol 27 Issue 2
