http://www.renelauto.fr has just released a new catalog. Franssen says they don’t have fabrics for seats and such but Renel has them, amongst others. If only I had the money!

They are the cheapest too. I have just bought (or in the process of buying) a new head lining for my 4CV. I was very impressed with the one I bought for my Traction and at €130 you cannot go wrong. These are going for €300 plus everywhere else.

But they are tediously slow and you can’t blame it on their IT skills as they are the same in person at the bourses. But they seem to have everything…. so you have to put up with it c’est la vie 😕

Hi Ian, looking for a headlining for my Slough Light 15, but can’t see it in their catalogue. Can you point me towards it?
          Thanks, Norman

Bottom of page 56. No pictures but it is the Pavillion you need to look at and choose the correct one. Price has gone up by €10 since their last catalogue (not too bad).

Just a thought….is this material OK for a Slough car?

Doesn’t a French car have one more roof rib than a Slough car?

My Slough ’53 Light 15 has six support ribs….FYI!

My Light 15 that I sold didn’t have one above the front seat. As a result, driving with the windscreen fully open in the summer made it a bit baggy and I’d have to tuck it in from time to time. I thought it odd that there wouldn’t be a rib there. The 11BL that I have now has a rib in that spot. Might be a good idea to ask Renel about that before ordering.

Thanks Larry and Alistair, will count mine to check! So many traps for the uninitiated!
