      Can anyone tell me what the glue used to stick the felt on the roof and sides is? Having a real job to get it off, done 6 flap wheels so far.

        I don’t know, but I used a blow torch and scrapped it off.Car is getting a re paint.

          I have used a blow torch on other areas but was reluctant on the roof. May rethink that idea though. I am going to paint all the interior after treatment and then redo sound insulation. The main tub of the car will be resprayed this winter too. The wings, bonnet etc will have to wait until next winter as I want to use the car this summer.

            I used very strong paint remover – I had no clue I was taking it off after being in the car a day, in fact that period of the restoration was a little blurry…. 😯

              Has a similar experience with Evo Stick many years ago when customising a van. I have never understood how anyone could choose to get high off of glue after that. I am trying to not use paint stripper as my garage is small and I am concerned re vapour.
