        Hi
        Whereabouts are you?
The club has a classified ads page on the website and it is probably also worth talking to John Gillard at Classic Restorations (see website or FP for contact details), who sometimes buys in cars and sells them on after repair.
Outside the club sphere, the car and classics website is quite a good hunting ground for both private and dealer sales, and often have cars advertised from within Europe as well.
If you have contacts in France, or your French is up to it, then the French Leboncoin website is a good source also.

this site: http://www.classiccarsforsale.co.uk/ seems to have a 1939 car listed – not sure how current the ad is.

            Hi
I have no passport so going to France or Belguim is imposssible for me,the only 2 prewar cars I have seen in France have been near Limoges, one was an early 1936 which I have been told to avoid as they are not as good a drive as the later cars, the other was light blue and I really want a black car I live near Guildford in Surrey but I am quite happy to travel for the right car
            regards
            Alan
