Most things are printable these days with modern laser/inkjet technology. If you look online there are quite a few companies who will print signs, for example, onto various kinds of clear acrylic sheet. I suppose the key issue would be whether the lettering on your original was clear enough to be scanned and how much work was needed to clean the resultant file up on something like Photoshop, prior to printing.
Try your local sign manufacturers, the sort of people who do small scale stuff for companies, they may be able to help.
