The Slough ignition switch, D81A, Lucas 30608, offered by the club is the later, key operated, version and definitely not suitable.  I think the Club part you require is probably D39A but you should confirm with Chris before ordering.

However, there are plenty of suitable push button switches on the net, one example here but you can probably find one locally and save on shipping costs ….

As this switch is intended to simply energises a solenoid there is little load so, as long as you still have the solenoid in your starter circuit, a light duty unit such as a horn button will be equally suitable,
