Was the one on the side of the distributor. Not actually faulty anyway, culprit was the coil, only discovered it a few minutes ago. I thought coils either worked or they did not. Well this one is a real rogue.Engine might fire for a few seconds then die other times nothing. Temperature of coil made no difference. So put in the new coil I got this morning and all is fine. Fires up first time and runs very nicely. Had a short trip out in her and all is well. Not the best of weeks as the missus backed her Audi into a wall and made a right mess.’ It was the shoes I was wearing ‘ any excuse.
