The shops here seem to have machines with spindles that go through the center bore, so they don’t like the cross piece for the hubcap. I’ve heard of places that balance the wheel on the car, but can’t find one in Vancouver.
I’m sure I’ll find something eventually, even if it’s just someone with an old bubble-type static balancer. One of my rear wheels hops impressively at the moment.
