My car is not at going to be original, but the carpet set (complete) is cheaper than having the edging sewn on a homemade one. I redid my Renault 4L myself and just had the front section edged. But in the Traction I like the darker grey edging tape which will match my grey vinyl seats and door cards I am having done.

I just bought some black carpet for the boot, looked the kits but I think grey will mark too easily so black it is.

PS – I have the original rubber matt with the chevrons so I will clean that up and use that for the winter or probably all the time, but it is nice to be able to remove it showing the carpet underneath 😀
