Wow! Brave man…. but sounds like exactly what I’d do myself, lol. I’m not sure I’d be brave enough to do the ID swap but the electric PS sounds a good idea. I was at a VW autojumble late last year with a pal (who is so inclined!) and saw a conversion aimed at camper van owners. Looked very subtle.
