Just got my speedo back from Nisonger Instruments in New York after a full overhaul.

Ordered the replacement decal from the ever helpful Chris T. £27.60 (ouch!) later it arrived in the mail with comprehensive instructions.

Two things if I may comment on the product and instructions:

Some folks like me are careful to follow instructions to the letter, as we know that we will get only one shot at it. Point number 3 tells you to remove the thin protective layer. Not so, the letters are supposed to come away WITH the thin layer, as the adhesive side FACES the thick layer! So dare I suggest, the instructions need a small re write as this is misleading.
As you can see from the attached image, some letters came away with the thin layer and some remained on the thick layer, making it virtually unusable. Are the transfers very old? Has anyone else had a problem, or am I alone?

I’ll see if I can attach a bad image.
