      Has anyone got a 12v starter motor they want to sell? I know I can use my 6v after going to 12v but I would prefer to use the right one.

        Try Chris at TOC Parts. He may have a 2nd hand one from Andy Burnes old stock.

        He also said he would p/ex 6v for 12v at one stage when I asked.

          Thanks Dave. I saw on the parts list that starters were exchange so I assumed they were like for like. I will speak to Chris. I have heard that rewinding is not always reliable and I was hoping if I got a Lucas unit I would get rid of the French Bendix!
