What’s not right:
– Shouldn’t have pilot lights on wings
– Odd light with “F” plate
– non Standard interior trim (fitting to door edge showing gaps)
– Ignition key in the wrong position
– Clock missing from speedometer
– 2 spoke rather than 3 spoke steering wheel
– Looks like a later “D” Engine and air filter rather than the original
– I wonder why there is no photo of the other side of the engine!

The seller says:
“You are looking at a 1949 Citroen Traction Avant Legere. It has stood in the garage for 5 years, so will require some work to get going again. It requires a new crown pinion on the gearbox. The engine was rebuilt in 2005 and has not done 2,000 miles since. The rebuild included :-
New Block
New Pistons
New Piston Rings
New Con rods
New Big end bearings
New small end bearings
replacement flywheel
recon head
reground crankshaft
plus lots of small items
It has been converted to 12v which makes it a much more usable car. It is quite a head turner but the bodywork could do with a bit of tidying. This is being sold as a restoration project, but with the crown pinion done it would be a usable classic. A £250.00 deposit required by paypal at the end of the auction and the balance on collection”
