      It’s cheap, too. And in California. So, California type rust which means mostly surface rust. But, I’ve never seen one with wire wheels.

        Apparently some Dunlop wire wheels were fitted round about the start of WW2. See Brian Wade’s  Queensland based car on the front cover of FP Vol 31 Issue 3 or here, tken when I visited him in 2015Australia 2015 345

          I mean, I’ve never seen wires on a 15/6. I’ve seen them on other models but never a 6 before. I’m almost tempted to enquire about that car.

            It’s not easy to tell from those pictures but I think the front tyre looks narrow for a 15/6.

            And the boot lid looks odd too – but maybe it is not shut on the left.

            Curiouser and curiouser.
