Not sure where the £44k was spent and when states £44k spent with Classic Restorations between 2002 and 2018 oddly it appears they only began in 2006!

So who knows where the truth lies.

For the record, Classic Restorations is (are?) about as old as the TOC.

They were situated ”under the arches” at Waterloo for many years before moving to the Old Kent Road.  More recently the business relocated to Kent.

            Hi

Yes are we talking Mr Geddes? I was getting it mixed up with Citroen Classic in Staines. Under the arches at Waterloo brings back memories a few pints at

            The Hole in the Wall.

Classic Restorations is John Gillard, formerly of The Arches and Old Kent Road, now in Kent, near Tunbridge Wells.

Bought my first Citroen Traction Avant from John at Old Kent Road. Spent many days browsing around his Garage, John dropped everything (not the teapot) to accommodate visitors and friends. I often wondered how he ever got any work done, but he always did.  Great honest Gentleman, dedicated his whole life to Citroen repairs and sales.

When I worked for John I was amazed at his collection of parts at OKR. I didn’t know that he had even more at a seperate storage building. I helped move a van load of stuff down to Kent where everything is now located. What he has there is astonishing and if he doesnt have it, it doesn’t exist.
