We had a nice weekend with Traction Universelle, Midi Pyrenees and Aquitaine plus a contingent from a club called L’Auto d Potes. There were 17 cars in total including 15 Tractions which was probably the most I have driven with since getting the car. It was also the big test run for “Vinny” after the engine work last week.
Total of 540 km travelled with only 2 minor incidents. One being the passenger side wiper blade flying off (1st time driving in proper rain) and my speedo suddenly reducing by 30kph…. not sure why on this one, it just suddenly dropped and now does not function correctly 😕 Anyone know who can repair a Jaeger unit or has a spare out there.
2 days of driving around the countryside of the Gers and the Landes with a very interesting visit to a Palomerie….. basically where they lure pigeons into a kill zone using other pigeons on perches….. yes, very interesting…. and supposedly a dying skill here in France.

This was use arriving slightly before the start. Typical English arriving 15 minutes before the start……Typical French arriving 30 minutes after the start…..I will never get used to that 😆 😆
