Hi, I have recently bought a 1949 Slough Big 6. The car is in very good condition and drives well.
Before this i have had Big and light 15’s and in comparison i find the ride of the 6 a little too firm
Can anyone tell me which shock absorbers are suitable from their experience, or which are recommended for this model.
      Any information would be appreciated

E mailed CAS for my Light 15 ref Monroe or Koni adjustable’s, there answer was the Koni was very good if you wanted to Rally etc but very expensive and the Monroe was what they recommended for the 4 cylinder car (they still were not cheap).

Originally it was very firm (I think they were marked Armstrong), sorry the car is still in pieces so I can not give a result.

            Why not try adjustable shocks?
