Brooklands New Year’s Day Meeting

This is always a good event and worth going to if you’re local.
Gates open at 9.00 and, if last year was anything to go by, it’ll be full by 10.00. Unless it’s pouring with rain.
Anyone planning to go? I think I am and will probably take the Normale. Unless I take something else.

Took the Normale.
Wasn’t raining (much).
Wasn’t full at all – one might almost day it was quiet. Presumably due to inclement weather and fear of overcrowding.
So – less cars to look, but more room to look at those that were there and the queue for the bacon butty van was short.

Citroen spots – that I saw:
AC4 – 1 (Martin’s 1927 car)
Tractions – 1 (mine)
H-Van – 1
DS – 2 (I saw a DS23, apparently there was a DS20 parked near my car, but it went before we got back to it)
2CV – 2
Ami – 1
