Met Mick at Wetherby today at the CCC rally with his roadster suffering a gear selector issue (he couldn’t get 1st and 3rd on the 4 speed box) it was the only Traction there as I went down in the D Super

Quickly found the problem as a broken weld on a pretty complex gear change arrangement which is 1 part rod for 1st and 3rd gear and 1 part cable for 2nd and 4th.

I’m pleased my car is still standard 3 speed 🙂

Took the Roadster over to Graham’s today and he “re-engineered” the selector mechanism… sorted!
