Chris Treagust

We were told yesterday, that our Spares man Chris Treagust has been admitted to hospital with suspected pneumonia. He was initially in intensive care, but his partner Vanessa has told us, he is out of danger and now on a general ward.

Lets wish Chris a speedy recovery.

If I have anything further, I will post as soon as possible.

Chris has now been diagnosed with pneumonia.

Chris is responding to treatment but it is going to be some time before he is fit enough to return to TOC duties and those of you familiar with the TOC Spares Operation will appreciate that, without Chris at the helm, TOC  Spares is 100% undermanned.

Immediate steps are being taken to establish an interim solution but that cannot possibly operate on a daily basis and will clearly not be as efficient as the service for which Chris is praised.  The committee would therefore like to hear from any members in the Chichester area who may be in a position to assist in any way to help ease the load and increase efficiency.  It could be simply packing or running parcels to the post office but, if you think you can help, please contact the committee – committee@traction-owners.co.uk

In the meantime I am sure all members will join the Committee in sending Chris best wishes for a full and speedy recovery.
