There were a number of manufacturers of Sports, Aerodynamic or American style grilles for the Traction. However the Police also fitted them as they made room available to fit a siren on top of the gearbox.

I’ve seen that in one of my books, the police cars fitted with that front. The one that looks good to me is the “Splendilux” which makes the car look sort of like a Delahaye or Delage. “Recherchez,” the book says. Also some of the Swiss-bodied cars such as Worblaufen look good too. I don’t like the ones that make it look like a 1939 Buick either. Don’t like 39 Buicks, anyway. the 38 Buick is gorgeous, wonder they couldn’t have done one like that.
