Hello fellow enthusiasts I’ve got to replace the door cards and would greatly appreciate any advice/ knowledge. I suspect the doors themselves will also require attention. The door pins are well and truly seized, maybe or not they get removed. What is the technique to remove the door handle and window winding handle …… many thanks

To remove the handles, push the spring-loaded escutcheon into the panel to reveal a pin through the boss of the handle.

Drive the pin out with a suitable punch and the handle w be free to come off the spindle but may require some persuasion if it has not been removed for some time.

If there is not already a strong polythene (or similar) sheet attached to the door behind thd card, covering all the gaps between the door’s metalwork, you should add one.  It will help to prevent water damage to the door card.
