Chris Teaghurst has given me the name of Woolies who manufacture door side trims. Their site is fantastic but the choice is enormous and it’s tricky to see exactly which is the correct trim. Does anyone know which one is correct for a ’53 BN?

As far as I know Woolies don’t stock the original cloth trim for a TA, you need to go to Depanoto, Fransen, CTA etc. if you want to keep that ‘original’ look, but it’s not cheap I’m afraid which is why some choose to do something else

          Ken,
When you use the term “Door Side Trims” do you mean material to cover the doors or the edging that acts as a draught seal ( known as”furrflex”)?

Check out the Renel catalogue – probably the cheapest supplier and it is good quality. Prices in there are 2011 but have not changed much.

To repeat what Mick asked – what to you mean by door side trims: the furflex ( however not everyone uses furflex i.e a fur covering Tractions had a material cover) or the door closure rubbers, the small piece between the dashboard and the carpet top on the inside of the “A” post, or the covers for the inside of the “B” post
