As you will see from the following, this vehicle has had a chequered existence and now needs to embark on it’s next great adventure.
In the owner’s own words …..

The Roadster supposedly came to America in the 50’s and was found in Florida 20 or so years ago. It was going to be converted to a Hot Rod but at the last minute someone realized how special it was and thankfully it was completely restored instead in California about 10-15 years ago by marque experts.

Drove from Amsterdam to 100th Citroen Centennial in Ferté Vidame, France in the glorious heat of summer 2019 with the top down. Stunning in Ebony & Ivory with black leather and carpets, gorgeous wood dash, and Hartz fabric top. Wonderful Dicky seat. Complete with its set of extremely rare in-period aluminum scalloped wheels (not Pilote).

I live in America and the Roadster is currently stored at a Citroen restoration shop in The Netherlands so my logistical nightmare is your potential dream car.

It’s a spectacular Traction; and I don’t want to ship it home as RHD just makes much more sense in the UK. If you’ve always wanted an authentic Slough Roadster—complete with a very motivated seller—this is it!

      Best offer!

I can add that, despite now sporting French headlamps, probably fitted when it was restored in Californifa, the Lucas sidelights are original and it has 12V electrics. The owner also has an attestation of authenticity issued by the UK Citroen Car Club in 2019.

I can attest that this is a very fine roadster- that’s me driving it in picture one. The different pedal configuration took some getting used to; it’s the first pre-war Traction I’ve ever driven. I’d buy it myself if I could afford it.

          SOLD !!!

Sorry folks, but Greg has confirmed this one has found a new home.  I am afraid you’ll just have to wait for another chance to fulfil that dream.
