I have just booked our tickets to the show for the Saturday. (Sunday can be a spare day if required 😉 )

Flying in from France for the weekend and really looking forward to it. 😀

It’s a very large event so be prepared to spend a lot of time on your feet and you may need Sunday as well to see everything you want.

We usually go on a Friday when it’s quieter (though more expensive) which makes it easier to see things.

Yes, we usually go on the Friday and feel it has been a success if we actually get through all of the halls by the end of the day! Will be popping into the TOC stand though. Had a good chat to Peter Simper last year.

          Best wishes

As far as accommodation is concerned, I always stay at the Briar Rose “Weather Lodge”.

It’s next to Birmingham New Street Station so is easy to get opt the NEC.

                Anyone else going 😀

We fly into Birmingham on Friday staying at the Ibis near Birmingham New Street. Will be going to the show on Saturday (tickets paid for) and probably Sunday (tickets not bought yet, could do some stand duty for a cup of tea 😆 )

Good to meet up with anyone for a coffee and get some tips on tackling getting around the show without spending too much money (specially those expensive UK pounds)
