      Hi Folks,

It’s been about 30 years since my petrol tank came off for cleaning and repainting. The exterior paint has recently started to flake, so the tank needs to come off again.

Here in France most petrol whether 95 or 98, has ethanol added, so it occurred to me that now might be an ideal opportunity to clean and treat the tank interior against possible ethanol corrosion. The question is….with what product?

Holden Classic Car Accesories have produced a video which is quite helpful, but their product, which looks like it comes from the USA, is out of stock!

Have any of you TOC members treated your tanks and if so, with what, and how do you rate the product?

      My thanks for any help.

        Hi Martin,

This is the stuff I have used on both cars, the Roadster was done in 2010. If you want to chat about it give me a call.

p.s. I would recomend you use their complete system to ensure the tank is rust free and clean. Frost are also a great company to deal with.

        Keep safe Philippe
