I’ve used K-seal many, many years ago and I remember it working. This was on a Triumph, not a Citroen but the materials are the same. I am assuming the formulation has not changed – but many things have changed for environmental reasons. Of course it will only seal small leaks. Evans Waterless coolants are expensive. The claim a lower viscosity than regular water-based coolants. I’m not sure if this true but if it is, K-Seal may be less effective with Evans coolants. On the other hand it develops less pressure so that will work in its favour. Given the cost of the coolant it may be an expensive experiment – but I don’t know another way to find out if it works.
If you are using Evans coolant because it is not toxic, an alternative is Fernox Alphi 11 – it’s not waterless but it is not toxic. I’ve been using it in my Traction and DS for the last 2 years or so. It’s sold for domestic systems but does the same job.
