As a Traction novice I am asking a lot of questions that may have previously been asked.  Along with my new heater I shall install a water temperature gauge in an accessible place on a hose.  However, reading through back copies of the FP there was concern about oil pressures.  I would like to monitor this so any help would be gratefully received.  If there is any engineering involved it does not present a problem.  Thanks again.

I assume you own a French car. At the rear of the engine on the carb side down low you will see a plug facing to the rear- that is the main oil gallery. Jose Franssen sells a kit to install an oil pressure gauge with a plug that is set up for the proper fitting of a line at that point.

Thank you, I will look into that.
