      Hi Everyone

I have just driven the Traction 50 miles from my home to the Sleive Donard Hotel, Newcastle, County Down to spend the next 3 days in luxury. The annual Car Show is held over the weekend in the Hotel Ballroom (carpet & centrally heated) all proceeds go to Cancer Research. I hope the Twelve will be happy returning home on Sunday to the cold floor garage. This car show is strictly invitation only,  I feel privileged to be given this chance once again to promote the Traction Avant at one of Northern Ireland’s Largest Car Shows, the interest in my little saloon by car enthusiasts in our small province is steadily growing at an excellent rate.

That carpet looks like it could hide a few oil stains.

How did they deal with that?

          Hi Chris

It’s nice to hear from you.  The carpet is really plush in the ballroom, my iPhone and combination of the hotel lighting does not do justice to it, however the Traction looks well. The organisers have chipboard trays covered with thick underfelt fixed to the upper side, they insert the trays under each car. The Hotel charge £4500-00 for the ballroom and bar area over the weekend, Cancer Research collects a door charge of only £5 per adult and £2 per child over the 3 days. The door totalled £20,500 which gives a total sum of £16,000 to this very worthy charity.
