In latest TOC newsletter Jon Langley asked about the mini mirrors. My Light 15 (sold in NZ in 1939) has 2 little mirrors in the same location as his. The previous owner told me they were there to check that the trafficators had deployed. They work for that (though the trafficators make enough noise popping up to know they are out). Here in LA they are handy when dealing with local traffic on the freeways. I looked at some pictures I have of other Light 15s and don’t see the mirrors. I dont have a picture of Rod Pick’s car (just sold on BAT) it was South African so i don;’t know if that one had them.
