I am in the process of making a wiring loom for my 1948 Slough built Light 15. I am using the wiring diagram No W2147 as a basis for the design but it does not feature an ignition light.

The car has an ignition light installed on the dash and did work, I unfortunately did not take enough notice of the detail of the rats nest I removed especially around the aforementioned light.

I believe it goes between the “ignition on” side of the ignition switch and the D terminal of the Lucas RF95 regulator. It does not pass through the regulator.

      Are my assumptions correct

        Hi Grahame,

I have an earlier wiring diagram which does show the warning light circuit.

I tried to send it to you, but the file limitations won’t allow.

If you send an email to helpline@traction-owners.co.uk, I will try and copy it there for you.

One side of the ignition light goes to terminal A3 of the fusebox on the regulator and the other does indeed go to the D terminal of the regulator
