I am asked by a guy in Western Canada that he took his 48 BL in for an inspection and after it was done, the car is now stuck in second gear. I’m thinking it might be the shift linkage in the dashboard. I advised him to disconnect the shift rods from the levers on top of the gearbox and see if the shift handle and linkages all move correctly. I kind of doubt that the innards of the box would be at fault but I’m not ruling that out. Any ideas?
