Reply To: New tyres for old

New tyres have been fitted for a while now and seem to be fine although I have not done a lot of mileage.  The tyre fitters did have quite a job getting them on the rims.  Getting them to sit on the rear of the rim was straight forward but the step in the front of the rim is quite sharp and caused a problem.  I had to derust the inside of the rims and paint them before the fitters tried again.  Strangely one of the rims is slightly wider and has raised bump for the caps to sit .  Does anyone know what Citroen this rim may have come from ?
