Hi, Just purchased a Slough L15. 1950.   Looking for recommendations for insurance providers, any information would be appreciated.

        André,

        Welcome to the TOC.

There are two insurers who specialise in classic vehicles who currently advertise in FP.

Other reputable insurers include Lancaster (sponsors of NEC Classic Car Show) and Footman James.

They each offer similar products but with slight differences, depending on type of use, cover abroad, multi-vehicle options, etc..

I recommend you check each one to find which offers the cover that best suits your own particular circumstances.

I was with Footman James who insured me with Aegis. All great until it came to making a claim which is when you need them to care. I’m now with Hegarty who do not use Aegis and seem to be interested in old cars. I hope not to test how they behave when they are needed.
