As I didn’t actually change the headlining, just added a 6″ vinyl strip at the bottom mine is not the same. The headlining change is for a future date (possibly).

You could get some thin foam and use some card to stiffen it which is what I basically did before covering with vinyl, I did the same for the parcel shelf below the window rather than buying a ready made one. Did you get one with your carpet ‘set’ or is it something else that was missing?

The rear window can be a DIY job as the Sikaflex is very ‘sticky’ and when you press the glass on it will grab it. You then screw the metal frame on and leave it for 24 hours to ‘cure’

There is room for 2 in the back of the car and you could get your wife involved again by supporting the glass until you get the frame on with a couple of screws if in any doubt.

The frame can then come back off to fit the headlining before finally fitting the rest of the trim 😛
