The organisers face a major and unforeseen challenge with next year’s Ireland Rally: the Ryder Cup will also take place in September. With its huge international following, the event is already affecting both accommodation availability and prices.

Despite this, we have secured an attractive rate for four nights. However, to achieve this, we have had to bring the rally dates forward. The rally will now take place from 30 August to 3 September 2027.

We currently have a good number of rooms on hold, and September’s Floating Power will include full details. However, we must confirm all room bookings by the end of October, together with a nominal deposit of £75 per person.

After October, accommodation that has not been secured is likely to be quickly reallocated because of demand from Ryder Cup visitors. Given this unavoidably tight deadline, please respond as soon as possible once you receive the booking form in the September issue of Floating Power.

We will post updates here on the Club website and in the dedicated WhatsApp group. To make sure you stay up to date, I strongly recommend joining the group. There is no obligation, and it is open to any TOC member interested in attending the 2027 Rally.
