I will take a look at the timing – it was just a quick “by ear” adjustment but I do get rumblings out of the exhaust when I take my foot off the accelerator, not back firing, just lots of burble (OK in a rally car but not this limousine 😆 )
But – my front left brake failed during my MOT – car passed as the guy knows I will go back and fix it and as it is all new it just needs some fettling.
well, I took off the hub and found one of the seals on the slave cylinder had popped and subsequent pours brake fluid on the pads. I cleaned it all up and reset the slave cylinder and checked it all out. It didn’t pop again. But on my short trip this morning, I tried it again and it seems to have gone again (car pulling to the right)
These are brand new seals and there is not much that can go wrong with a slave cylinder… is there ❓ So I wonder why it is popping ❓
I will get another refurb kit and rebuild it but does the Traction have this problem – I am thinking because it might be the closest to the Master Cylinder so under the most pressure 😕
