Due to failing health, Ray Andrews restored 1955  RHD Big 6H is up for auction this Saturday 17th August. It’s a well known car and it would be good for it to remain ‘in the club’

Despite what the auction house website says it appears the car is still available so if anyone knows anyone who is looking for a Big 6H pass the word on.

Latest Update: the car is sold. High bidder reached an agreement with the auctioneers so it’s gone. Don’t know where though.

Well I didn’t want to ‘pry’ Chris. The car was estimated at £25k and fell a ‘little short’  of what was acceptable but at some point the results will go online: https://www.glenmarch.com/auctions/results/845

Well it says £23,600 which includes buyers premium looking at what my own VW Golf went for.

It does seem rather low for such an historic car.
